You can’t check a thought — so the checking never ends. That is the loop these three workbooks are built for: printable exercises that give it somewhere to go, on paper, in your own handwriting, one page at a time.

No email required. Actual pages from the workbooks, including the one they call the most important page in the book.
What’s included
- Harm OCD Workbook — for frightening thoughts about harm coming to someone, the kind that horrify you precisely because you would never want them.
- Pure O & Rumination Workbook — for the replaying and mental reviewing that happens entirely inside your head, where there is no compulsion anyone else can see.
- Scrupulosity OCD Workbook — for guilt about faith, honesty, or whether you are a good person — the kind that never quite settles no matter how carefully you examine it.
- Print and fillable editions of all three
- A cut-out page of 8 discreet pocket cards — one line each, no labels and no logo, so there is nothing to explain if someone sees one

Who this is for
These three workbooks were written for people who —
- get a thought they would never act on, and feel like having it means something
- replay a conversation for hours, hunting for the part they got wrong
- check whether they are a good person, and never get a final answer
- do all the checking silently, where nobody else can see it
- feel better for an hour after reassurance, then need to ask again
If more than one of those is familiar, that is the loop these three workbooks are built for.

What you actually get
Three workbooks — Harm OCD, Pure-O & Rumination, and Scrupulosity — each supplied twice, as a print edition and a fillable edition.
Plus a cut-out sheet of 8 pocket cards: one line each, no labels and no logo, so there is nothing to explain if someone sees one.
268 pages in total — 137 print, 131 fillable — across 134 pages of unique material.
Using this without it turning into a compulsion
A fair worry, and one most self-help material ignores completely. Three rules for how these are meant to be used:
- Read each page once. Re-reading it for the version that finally feels right is the compulsion wearing a study hat.
- Set a timer. Twenty minutes, then stop, whether or not it feels finished. Stopping while it is still unresolved is the exercise, not a failure of it.
- Never re-do a worksheet to get it right. There is no right. A messy first answer has already done its job.
And the thing these pages will never do: tell you whether your particular fear is true. Nothing can, and anything offering to is selling relief that expires within the hour.
What these three cover — and what they don't
They are for: frightening thoughts about harm you would never want; replaying and mental reviewing that happens entirely in your head, where there is no compulsion anyone can see; and guilt about faith, honesty, or whether you are a good person.
They are not for: contamination, checking, symmetry and just-right, health anxiety, relationship doubt, or real-event and false-memory themes. Those are separate workbooks — find the one that matches rather than making these fit.
Themes move around. The mechanics on these pages do not, which is why they still work when the subject changes.
I've tried worksheets before and nothing changed
Most worksheets ask you to weigh the evidence and argue the thought down. With OCD that backfires — examining the content is itself a compulsion, so the relief expires like every other kind, and the thought comes back carrying more authority than before.
Nothing in these pages asks you to disprove a thought, rate how likely it is, or gather evidence for and against it. The work is practising moving before the doubt clears.
What happens the second you pay
Your files are on the order confirmation page immediately — nothing ships, nothing is posted, and there is no account to create. A backup link also goes to your email in case you close the tab.
On a phone they save to Files or Downloads like any other PDF. You can come back and download them again whenever you want.
Can I print it, or fill it in on my phone?
Both. Every workbook comes twice — a print edition and a fillable edition — so you can write by hand or type, and switch whenever you like.
When printing, choose 100% or Actual Size rather than Fit to Page. Scaling is the usual reason margins come out clipped.
Is this therapy?
No. These are self-practice materials built from published ERP methods — the same approach a therapist would work through with you, on paper, at your own pace. They are meant to support working with a professional, not to replace it.
If you are in crisis right now, this is not the right tool for today. Please reach a person who can help.
What if something's wrong with the file?
Wrong file, missing pages, or it will not open on your device — email and you will get a working copy. Within 30 days, no argument. A real person reads every message.
Made by Julian. Not a clinician — these are self-practice materials built from published ERP methods, not treatment. Questions go to ocdtrueorfalse@gmail.com and reach a person, usually within a business day.
OCD says / Reality
Three more your mind gets backwards
-
OCD says
You need to be certain before you can move on.
RealityCertainty is the one thing OCD promises and never delivers. You can move before the doubt clears.
-
OCD says
Checking one more time will finally settle it.
RealityEvery check teaches the doubt to come back louder. That is why it never stays settled.
-
OCD says
If you cannot stop thinking about it, it must be important.
RealityAttention is not evidence. OCD grabs the loudest thought, not the truest one.
So why does knowing this not make it stop?
Because understanding a loop does not switch it off. Reassurance wears off by design — that is why the relief never lasts more than an hour, and why you end up back at the same question by evening. What changes it is practice. Small, repeatable exposures you work through on paper, one page at a time. That is what these three workbooks are.

What if I choose the wrong guide?
You do not need to identify the perfect clinical term. Use the guide finder, or email ocdtrueorfalse@gmail.com if you accidentally choose the wrong resource. We will help you find the closest fit.
Can I use the files on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Download the files first, then open the fillable edition in a PDF app that supports forms. For the smoothest saving experience, test one word, save, and reopen before completing a longer exercise.
Are these therapy?
No. These are educational, ERP-informed self-practice materials. They are not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or a replacement for care from a licensed professional.
